Otherwise known as the “OH.  THAT’S OKAY.  I DIDN’T NEED THAT HEART” part of So Silver Bright.

I certainly didn’t do the scene justice, but it’s such a beautiful and upsetting moving scene, I had to draw it.  Also, any excuse to draw Ariel and his swishy hair.

The words in the picture aren’t quite right—I had to pull them from memory (while I was able to crack my book open for the part underneath)
